Job Description
Mentor (Part-time, anywhere in the world)
Requirements:
Current student or former graduate (MA/PhD) from top US universities.
The Role:
To provide GGU applicants with the most relevant and effective mentorship, GGU only hires current or former graduates of top universities in the US and Europe. Mentors play a critical role in GGU’s tailored program for helping prospective graduates get into their dream programs. Mentors have a flexible schedule. They only need to be reachable by email and Skype.
After training by GGU, the mentor will be expected to:
- identify the subject/degree most suited to their mentored applicants
- provide guidance on what students can do to reinforce their application appeal
- define strategy for the application process, including school selection and professors/teams to work for/in
Compensation and Privacy:
GGU mentors receive a generous hourly wage. With the flexibility to choose your own hours, we believe mentors will have no trouble finding time in their own busy work and academic schedules to help the next generation of applicants.
GGU will not publicly disclose a mentors’ name or related background, unless granted permission by the mentor.
Essay Editor (Part-time, anywhere in the world)
Requirements:
Native speaker of English. Current student or alumni of a top US university/liberal arts college.
The Role:
Essay editors ensure that an applicant’s inherent academic and personal qualities are not obscured by their lack of familiarity with the English language and school application process. Typically, email communication alone is sufficient.
After training by GGU, the essay editor will be expect to:
- refine essays that have been previously edited for logic and content
Compensation:
GGU essay editors receive a generous hourly wage.
Coordinator (Fulltime, Beijing)
Requirements:
Graduate from a top US undergraduate, masters, or PhD program
The Role:
After training by GGU, the coordinator will be expect to:
- provide GGU applicants with professional guidance and support through the application process

Mentor的工作职责和方式
Mentor 在世毕盟的研究生申请的全套服务中占据重要的地位，在接受世毕盟系统的内部培训后，主要负责给申请者提供专业方面的指导、制定背景强化及申请策略和提供选校（以及选教授）方面的建议等。世毕盟 Mentor与 Lecturer（主要负责讲授基本的申请课程）、Coordinator（主要负责申请程序指导以及全程的 协调工作）、 Essay Editor（主要负责文书润色）、Mock Interviewer（世毕盟模拟面试官）共同构成世毕盟强大的咨询团队。为了给申请者提供最有效的申请指导，我们的 mentor 都是欧美名校的在读学生或者毕业生。Mentor工作方式灵活，只需要邮件和网络在线Skype就可以轻松、便捷地进行工作。
Mentor的报酬和隐私保护
考虑到 mentor 们平常自己学业、工作压力比较大，世毕盟给 mentor 提供了优厚的报酬（时薪）。Mentor的任何信息，包括姓名及相关背景，世毕盟会保密（除非取得Mentor本人的同意）；

要求：美国top大学本科、硕士或者博士毕业
工作职责和方式：接受世毕盟系统的内部培训后，给世毕盟学员申请过程中提供专业的咨询服务；
助理咨询师薪水面议。
