University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC for short) is one of the first 211 Project and 985 Project universities, and also, the only electronic information–oriented university. It is the first university in China with all the sub-disciplines of the two disciplines—electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering—being national key disciplines. In September 2017, UESTC was chosen in the list of National "Double World Class" Project that aims to build "world-class universities" and "world-class disciplines" in China.

After six decades of development, UESTC has developed into a key multidisciplinary research-oriented university with electronic science and technology being its nucleus and characterized by the harmonious integration of science, engineering, management and liberal arts.

1.       Engaged in scientific researches and below the age of 40

2.       Possess a PHD degree granted by prestigious overseas universities, with formal teaching and researching positions in overseas prestigious universities, institutions or enterprises

3.       As the elites among the peers in certain field, the young professionals shall have the potential of becoming leading figures in the future

4.       Be able to work full time in China

Preferential Policies and Treatments

1.       Professor title, and PhD student supervisor

2.       The basic annual salary is no less than 450,000 RMB (with a dynamic increase)

3.       Insurance and Housing Fund is around 100,000 RMB/year

4.       "No ceiling" for the reward to high level achievement

5.       Research funding no less than the amount given by the country

6.       Settling-in and housing subsidies: 0.8-1.2 million RMB (tax-free)
