Amazon Device, Asia teams work in diverse areas, from obsessing over the customer experience with hardware reliability to creating a cinematic UI on Fire TV. It is always Day 1 at Amazon.

Amazon introduced the first Kindle in 2007 — at that time, it offered 90,000 eBooks and sold out 5.5 hours after the announcement. We have gone beyond Kindle with our powerhouse Fire tablets, built for work and play with our Fire operating system. For streaming media lovers, we have created Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Edition with voice search. Most recently, we introduced Amazon Echo and Alexa, the voice service that powers Echo and other devices so customers can play music, control their smart homes, and get information, news, weather, and more using just their voice.

Since its founding in 2013, Ring has became members of Amazon in 2017, and been on a mission to make neighborhoods safer. From the first-ever Video Doorbell, to the award-winning DIY Ring Alarm System, Ring’s smart home security product line, as well as the Neighbors App, offer users affordable whole-home and neighborhood security.

Amazon Sidewalk is a shared network that helps devices work better. Sidewalk can help simplify new device setup, extend the low-bandwidth working range of devices, and help devices stay online even if they are outside the range of their home wifi. In the future, Sidewalk will support a range of experiences from helping find pets or valuables, to smart security and lighting, to diagnostics for appliances and tools.
